The custom bikes building© project is my hobby, when the combination of a timeless and unique design and accurate components selection brings an unusual bike – a dream bike.
The project is a natural evolution of my hobby and may bring a huge potential of opportunities how to extend my skills and experiences. My target is to extend your opportunities of bicycle assembling and/or tuning.
who is behind?
Actually, I`m the one who performs mountain bike tuning and/or assembling. I co-operate with one of my friends who performs airbrush painting.
mountain bike assembly - a turnkey solution
To be honest, this is the most expensive way to build a dream bike, however, it`s the only way how to build the ultimate dream bike.
Many people would rebuild their bicycle/mountain bike immediately after they`ve bought it from the bicycle shop. I`ve done exactly the same thing myself. In reality, I`ve only bought one mountain bike from a shop. My first one. Since then I have never bought another. I`ve assembled it.
Mountain bike assembly is my passion. This is the way to tailor your mountain bike to your personal needs. I call it a turnkey solution. The essential goal is to pick up the best components, draw them up together, tune them and enjoy the ride.

Mountain bike design is the core idea of my project. It`s a key point which decides about the final project`s result. The design should reflect the spirit of biker, being its personal mirror. That`s why a personal contact with the user/biker and detailed understanding of his/her aim is fully required.
There are many ways how to achieve it. Not the most preferred one is frame custom design and tuning.

Airbrush painting technique is not the most commonly used method how to tune a bike or frame. Fortunatelly, we can do it. The technique offers a unique frame design with a design fully defined by bike/frame owner. It`s also possible to use it repairing the frame`s original final finish.
Here are some examples of the frame custom design. In both cases the frame design has been done by airbrush technique.

bike components tuning
The next possibility is to provide bike components custom design and tuning. It`s probably the most common way how to tune mountain bikes.
Basicaly, very often I swap original bike components with the ones that are lighter (or the lightest) or fit better the overall bike design. The components from carbon or aluminium play a big role in this process.
A new form of tuning is anodizing. This is the way how to improve bike design in many fresh colours. The process isn`t done by me personally, I use to use professionals.
Not very common bike tuning is to paint small bike parts as it`s the way I like. I do not like factory-painted components, e.g. PM/IS and/or CenterLock adapters.

Furthermore, I used airbrush technique for some bike components such as suspension/rigid fork and/or shock. In this case I tuned the final finish according to the design of the frame or another component.
Recommendation! I strongly recommend disassembling and assembling back your fork and/or shock in authorized service only. You can avoid much inconvenience.
Here is an example of the bike component`s custom design. A FOX FLOAT R w/ Brain rear shock has been re-designed following the design and the final finish of a new FOX F100RLC 2009 fork. The shock`s final finish has been done by airbrush technology.

bike jewellery
I like titanium. That material is my favourite one and I push it on gradually on my mountain bikes.
My likely hardware tuning is to swap steel bolts with their titanium versions. Besides weight reduction, the final design fits my expectations as well.

Aluminium and aluminium bolts together with carbon and carbon bolts are similar tuning options. I put them aside for now.

Besides the traditional bike components tuning, it can be performed bike jeweller`s tuning as well. It`s unconventional, custom-defined 3D badges that might be located on the head tube of the frame or anywhere you want.
3D badge is fully hand-made by my friend in the United States of America (USA). For more information, please, contact me in person. Thank you.
NOTE. Most commonly customer-specified 3D badges could be made as well as 3D badge for an existing company.
Caution! 3D badge, which is registered trademark, requires the copyright property owner`s written agreement. Once a TRADING LICENCE AGREEMENT is received, the badge manufacturing can start.
The 3D badge has been hand-made of sterling silver and finished in the colours of the Specialized company. There is only one Specialized "S-Works" 3D badge in the world. The badge has been bound to the owner`s name.

bike accessories and clothes
team jersey and jacket
A cocoon ergonomic cycling jersey with short sleeves has been taken for my team jersey. It offers three pockets on the back side, one with a zip.
I positioned my small team logo at the front left side of the jersey together with other company logos I recommend on my web-site.
The back side wears my big team logo with a web-site URL address.
A no-wind Northwave jacket design follows the jersey`s one. The company logos have been positioned at the front right side, while at the back side I placed the team logo with a web-site address.
I have made limited edition of my team jersey and jacket. I think to realize team cycling lycra shorts as well (winter `11/12).

mountain bike helmets - custom design
Here is the example of my first bike helmet`s custom design.
A helmet is the MET Veleno 2008 model with the custom final finish following the frame`s design.
